Jordan and Churros

The one thing that Jordan was looking forward to in Madrid was churros (donuts dunked in a cup of melted chocolate). On the first day we were able to make it happen! Our first stop after the hotel was at Chocolateria de Gines. We sat in the alley in front of the chocolateria and listened to the strolling musicians and wondered -- in awe and joy at being here.

What a treat!

Jordan looks so satisfied buy I must inquire, "Are they as tasty as Long's donuts?" Perhaps we'll do a compare/contrast when you return. Glad you're having fun!

Dear David,

Good question. We went back to this same place this morning, so he could "refuel." So, I think he likes it a lot...but praising it over Long's -- I don't know!

I know he's only been gone for two days, but Jordan looks older. Probably the worldly wisdom induced by Churros.
